Anansi, the clever spider god from Ghana, has arrived to America in search of greater adventures. He's quickly learned about the modern world, with its tall buildings and motor vehicles. Anansi is captivated by it all, but he's also found some things confusing. He can't quite figure out how people talk to each other through those phones they always carry. He too finds himself frustrated by the lack of politeness in some situations. But Anansi is a spider god, after all, and he's not one to quit. He's already started on a series of schemes to make his mark on America.

There once was the little lion that enjoyed baseball more than anything else. All day, he would play with his friends in the savanna. He was so good that even the experienced lions looked on in awe. His favorite was hitting grand slams. He dreamed of one day playing for the Savanna Stars.

Perhaps he'll become a legend.. The little lion was determined to show everyone that even a tiny lion could be the best in the savannah.
